John 17

John 17:10 “All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.”

What is the “name” The author was referring to?

Is His name “God”, or “Lord”, or “Yahweh”, or “Jesus”, or “Christ”, or “Yeshua”, or “Immanuel?”

I’d say it depends in the era you are in. Old Testament? New Testament? The Gospel? The early Church? The epistles? The reformation?

John 17:13“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.”

Who is the deity that saves mankind from sin? That is the name, you should use. It doesn’t refer to a specific personage, but its meaning is passed on by hearing the Word of God, or the Good News (Gospel).

The name Joshua is of Hebrew origin, meaning “Yahweh is salvation” or “God is deliverance.”

The name “Joshua” has Hebrew origins and means “Yahweh is salvation” or “The Lord is my salvation.” It is derived from the Hebrew name Yehoshua (יְהוֹשֻׁעַ), which combines two elements:

  1. Yahweh (יהוה) – the name of the God of Israel.
  2. Yasha (יָשַׁע) – meaning “to save” or “to deliver.”

The name gained significant popularity in both biblical and Christian traditions, partly because of the biblical figure Joshua, who succeeded Moses as the leader of the Israelites and led them into the Promised Land.

The name “Jesus” is derived from the same Hebrew name as “Joshua” — Yehoshua (יְהוֹשֻׁעַ), which means “Yahweh is salvation” or “The Lord saves.”

In Greek, Yehoshua was transliterated to Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς), which then became “Jesus” in English. The meaning is essentially the same as “Joshua,” but the name Jesus is particularly significant in Christian theology as it refers to Jesus of Nazareth, central to the Christian faith, believed to be the Messiah and the Son of God.

So, the name “Jesus” carries the meaning of divine salvation or deliverance through God.

John 17:20 “But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

The Eucharist, Post Pandemic

What is transubstantiation? Why is the Catholic church becoming an apostasy?

Ever since the covid-19 pandemic, in 2020 onward, the Roman Catholic church in New York has restricted the eucharist from the body of believers, so that there is ONLY the breaking of break, and no wine or forgiveness.

You will receive NO PEACE from breaking Jesus’ body. It is actually the BLOOD of the Lamb that is integral for forgiveness.

Jesus said in Matthew 26:26-28
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

THIS is why the belief that the bread and wine are LITERALLY Jesus’ flesh and blood. So, if you do not drink Jesus’ blood, and eat his flesh… 1 Corinthians 11:28-30 says…
28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

This is the apostasy. They did not examine themselves; the mass has been breaking his body but not seeking forgiveness. I believe this is the same thing as taking his blood “unworthily.” The Church has fallen asleep. The priests are weak, the elderly sick. Whether from Covid-19 or the vaccines, or from communion, we do not know. However, we need all the help we can get right now considering the health of our people. Their excuse is NOT ADEQUATE. The priests make the claim that their “Catechism” says that the priest may take communion for the whole congregation. This is fine for back before we could manufacture tiny cups for each person, like the protestant churches do. We do NOT need to SHARE the same cups!

Give up your tradition already. You are CLEARLY in the wrong. It says ““Drink from it, all of you.”- how hard is that to understand?

Mental Health Awareness

“Half of World’s Population Will Experience a Mental Health Disorder.” – Harvard Medical School

1 Corinthians 10:12-14

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

If this were true, why do people commit suicide?

Satan is alive and well. Judas Iscariot went down the road of destruction by betraying Jesus and then killing himself. If he had NOT killed himself, he too would have been forgiven by Jesus. However, he didn’t believe in grace, and he committed suicide.

What is grace?

The word “grace” is used 37 times in the Old Testament, and over 150 times in the New Testament. What is the difference?

The Hebrew word for “grace” is “chen”, pronounced “khane.”
Parts of Speech: Noun, Masculine

  1. favour, acceptance
  1. favour, grace, charm

2. favour, grace, elegance

The Greek word for “grace” is “charis.”, pronounced, “khar’-ece.”
Parts of Speech: Noun, Feminine

  1. grace
    1. that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness: grace of speech
  2. good will, loving-kindness, favour
    1. of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues
  3. what is due to grace
    1. the spiritual condition of one governed by the power of divine grace
    2. the token or proof of grace, benefit
      1. a gift of grace
      2. benefit, bounty
  4. thanks, (for benefits, services, favours), recompense, reward

The idea of being “saved by grace” does NOT appear anywhere in the Hebrew manuscripts. The Greek word charis is packed with meaning in the New Testament. Charis can be succinctly defined as in “the unmerited favor of God.” Of the approximate 150 occurrences of charis, the vast majority appear in the letters of the apostle Paul.

If Saul (St. Paul) murdered Christians of the early church, why did he go to Heaven and NOT Judas Iscariot?

First of all, Judas took the money that the Pharisee’s paid him to betray Jesus, and he threw it at their feet because he realized his sin.

You CANNOT pay money for the gift of forgiveness, nor for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Grace is a gift for those who believe in him. If someone gives you a brand-new Porsche, and you try to pay him $100 for it… don’t you think that’s a little insulting? That’s the whole idea behind unmerited favor of God.

Acts 8:18-21

18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money 19 and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

20 Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God.

2 Corinthians 12:7-8

Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.

Judas Iscariot was likewise tormented, however he had NO FAITH! If he had believed in forgiveness that Jesus kept preaching about, he would have been “saved by grace through faith.”

When I was 15 years old, I met God. This was after I sacrificed my life for my friend who was being assaulted by her upperclassman boyfriend. However, while in purgatory, Jesus resurrected me from the dead and made me who I am today. I’ve had many trials and tribulations, but I never stopped believing. In 2005 when my car ran out of gasoline in the middle of winter out on a rural road at night, I had realized I had gone as far as I could go. So, I tried committing suicide by leaping head-first in front of a car going about 50 mph. My head hit the driver side mirror, knocking it off… spinning me around, falling on the pavement.

I got within inches of my death, with just a scratch behind my ear, (so I knew it was real), but I survived. Not everyone is that lucky. Do NOT tempt God.

Matthew 4:6-8
6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

New Song Experimental

Many people claim to have received the Holy Spirit in the Christian Church. Especially Pentecostals like Kenneth Copeland and Mike Kestler. But also, Adriene Rogers and Dave Hunt and Tom McMan. These megachurch pastors have all really given us a piece of their mind regarding the discernment of the Holy Spirit. While I agree, they have been born again and we are of the same spirit, their teachings are harmful to the faith of believers-those who say “. Jesus said the the Temple of The Holy Spirit is our own bodies, not an actual Church or Mosque or Synagogue building. Yet I’ve been to a Church so big, they have an elevator. While this is great for the accessibility of the disabled… it’s NOT the same “Church” as a Spirit Filled-Believer. They claim that belief is NOT experiential, or “emotional.”

So, if that is true. Can we trust anything we are feeling while at Church?

I have been to many different Christian Church denominations. While I feel I’m more filled with knowledge in Evangelical Churches. I trust the people of the Baptist Church most. Then I feel the Pentecostal services are the most Spirit filled. The Charismatic Church is the most entertaining. While the Latin Liturgic mass is the Most Holy.

Some say, we as Christians, are being fooled by including experience in how we determine if we are in the prescence of the Holy Spirit or not.

They say, True Christianity is NOT “experience based.” I beg to differ. If I feel moved in Spirit during a denomination’s service… I will compare it to how I “feel” when I am alone yet with the companionship of God.

I am unable to worship with most Church hymns. I keep it real with God, and so I don’t fake relating to old hymns. I like either Gregorian Chants or Jars of Clay, Flyleaf, and Switchfoot… among various one hit-wonders. I built a playlist of all of the Best Christian Rock Songs at New Song.

Why Our Milky Way Galaxy Is A Galactic Diamond

“The oldest stars in the Milky Way are 13.4 billion years, give or take 800 million years. This is somewhat close to what the age of the Universe is (which hovers around 13.7 billion years). By measuring the age of these stars, and then calculating the interval between their formation and the death of the previous generation of stars, we can come to an approximate age of the Milky Way as 13.6 billion years.[1]”

This and other factors, suggest that our moment in time and space bears the signature of God. Miracle after miracle happened, and life survived despite all odds. This Truth parallels the story of life on Earth, or should I say in the Milky Way? How since the beginning of time, 13.7 billion years ago, God created the Universe. God is NOT the Universe; we know only that God is Spirit.

John 4:24

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

We do not worship through science. Science is similar to mathematics. It is a tool, we developed through our understanding of the world and its laws, to understand our creation. NOT GOD! “God is Spirit!”

Genesis 1:In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

“Galaxies come in many shapes and sizes. The Milky Way, for example, is a spiral galaxy.

But spiral galaxies like ours are surprisingly rare in our galactic neighborhood, and for years, astronomers have wondered why.

Researchers turned back the clock to approximately 13.8 billion years ago when our galaxy and those around it were just starting to form.

The researchers simulated the evolution of our galactic neighborhood to see what may have happened over billions of years to make spiral galaxies so rare in our corner of the cosmos.

They found evidence of a turbulent past. The simulation showed that galaxies in dense clusters, like the one our Milky Way calls home, experienced frequent collisions and mergers.

When galaxies merge, they can form a whole new type of galaxy. For example, when two spiral galaxies collide, it’s thought to create what’s called an elliptical galaxy.

That’s what both observations of our nearby universe and the simulations showed: Our galactic neighborhood has plenty of elliptical galaxies but very few spiral galaxies, suggesting that our Milky Way somehow survived amidst a chaotic scenario of galactic bumper cars over the age of the universe. [2]”

“independently of the rest.

“For the first time, we have clearly established a ‘genetic difference’ between stars in the disc and the bulge of our Galaxy,” said Manuela Zoccali, lead author of the paper presenting the results in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics. “We infer from this that the bulge must have formed more rapidly than the disc, probably in less than a billion years and when the Universe was still very young.”

“In other words, bulge stars did not originate in the disc and then migrate inward to build up the bulge but rather formed independently of the disc,” said Zoccali. “Moreover, the chemical enrichment of the bulge, and hence its formation timescale, has been faster than that of the disc. [3]”

What is physical blasphemy?

Are tattoo’s the mark of the beast? It could be, eventually. But for now, we focus on tattoo’s that are physical blasphemy. Tattoo’s that disfigure your natural, God-given appearance. We know that man and female kind are made in the image of God:

Romans 8:29
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Therefore, all who are of mankind (women and men), are predestined to be known by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Without the Godhead of Jesus on our faith, we are predestined to lose.

It’s time to wake up from the frivolous nonsense that is preached in non-denominational, non-Christian, churches.

Do not seek the cults, whether LDS or Seventh-day Adventist, but pursue a direct relationship with God through a local Baptist Church!

Is “The God” (Allah) The Same Father in Heaven?

Yes, by all means… pray to Allah… which means “The God” in Arabic.

Al-An’am (The Cattle) 6:118

فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ

EAT, then, of that over which God’s name has been pronounced, if you truly believe in His messages.

What is God’s name? Dating back to the oldest history of the Old Testament Bible… the long standing oldest text is that of Job. In which it is said that Job wore a “turban” on his head.

Job 29:14 I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban.

Therefore, now we know why an Angel of the Lord told Mary and Joseph to go to Egypt, where they would be safe from the murderous rule of King Herod.

Job 1:19-21

19 when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.”

This is incredibly righteous. Beyond that of any Americans. If the stock market crash of “black Monday” caused people to leap off rooftops, you know they had zero faith or righteousness…

in 1999 the stock market crashed again, and stupid IT companies were purged from the NYSE.

There are many startups that will not last in a bear market. Invest in solid stocks, with a diversified portfolio, and you will be ahead of the rat race.

Should you aim for a blackhole in the afterlife?

If you still had agency in the afterlife, as the LDS Church believes, where would you go after you die? Heaven? Hell? The Moon? The Sun? Another planet? A black hole?

It may be possible to travel the universe through black holes, that’s a belief I’ve had since a young age. Now scientists are relating black holes to worm holes, and a holographic world. Scientists have suggested that our Universe may be a simulation.

Whether any of this is True or not, DOES Matter!

Islam believes in Paradise, not Heaven. Similar to the Church of Latter-Day Saints. There is a “terrestrial Heaven” for each of us in this universe. We will all be assigned our own planets to rule.

That’s what I believe in. “Gardens where rivers flow through!”

I’m not taking my chances on a black hole, or even the Sun. What if it’s Satan’s counterfeit? I wouldn’t take a chance.

In the Bible, what is a ‘love feast’?

“The early church had times of food and fellowship much as we do today, and it seems that these times were called “love feasts.” Eating together is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11:21 (as part of a rebuke to the believers in Corinth) and in 2 Peter 2:13 (as part of a rebuke to false teachers). In Jude 1:12, the meals are specifically called “love feasts”—again, the context is that of rebuking false teachers. The KJV says “feasts of charity” in Jude 1:12; the NLT has “fellowship meals”; most other translations put “love feasts.” Around AD 90 Pliny the Younger in To Trajan, Book 10, Letter 97 notes that the love feast was common among Christians in Rome. Ignatius of Antioch (a disciple of John’s), around the same time period, mentions the love feast in his letter to the Smyrnaeans.”-compellingtruth.org

Related: Was Saul or Peter Gay?

These two bickered with each other like two old women in an Italian kitchen. What was it all about? We all know Saul, later renamed to Paul, was about as Jewish as you can get. He killed the first Christian martyr, Stephen, an early Church believer with the face of an angel.

His last words were “Lord Jesus, please do not hold this sin against them!”-as they stoned him to death, with Saul’s approval.

Saul later ended up blinded by Jesus on the road to Damascus. Peter never faced such trials. However, the Jews did martyr him eventually also, on an upside-down cross.

Peter socialized with the Jews, ate and drank with them… but when Paul got back, he knew he was in trouble. So, Paul said to institute a religion of apartheid between Christians and Jews.

Are You Eating Food Polluted By Idols?

What is an idol? An idol could be anything from money to lust to knowledge.

It teaches in 1 Corinthians 8:1 that “concerning food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes one conceited, but love edifies people.

Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.

But if anyone says to you, “This is meat sacrificed to idols,” do not eat it, for the sake of that one who informed you and for the sake of conscience;”

We are taught some limits concerning the rights of a believer. We may eat of any animal regardless if it is Kosher or not.

However, we are not to drink the life blood of the animal, or food polluted by idols.

If you ever suspect your food has been tampered with, simply say the name of the Father over it, and it will be blessed.

However, if you do not pronounce the name of Allah over your food, you will surely be condemned for eating food polluted by idols.

An-Nahl 16:1

“He has only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and any (food) over which the name of other than Allah has been invoked. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
