You might think you are a typical Catholic that only goes to Church once a year, at midnight mass on Christmas Eve.
Technically, you could say so. However, if that’s the ONLY time you think about Jesus… you really aren’t a Christian.
Being Christian requires a real relationship with the Lord. He is able to operate with more than one person at the time. That is why he is not here in the flesh right now. He must multitask being God. Not an easy job. The least you could do is observe the Holy Days.
But what exactly are the Holy Days?
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday
So in order to be fulfilling Jesus’ will on a weekly basis, we observe not only the yearly “Holidays” but also the weekly “Holy Days.” Three Days of Jesus’ Death, Burial, and Resurrection: EACH WEEK!
Friday
Saturday
Sunday
Friday, you are to worship Jesus on the Cross. Fast, do not eat ANY meat. Not even fish. Eggs, are okay.
Saturday, these are the times to fulfill the requirements of the Sabbath. You are to smoke marijuana, reflect on your sins, relax with God. And do No REAL work. Using a microwave is okay. Traveling up to 2 1/4 miles is okay. We have self checkouts almost everywhere now. So you don’t make anyone work. First responders are available only according the Law of Jesus. These are the days to “Remember the Sabbath, and keep it Holy!” Everyone has laundry washing/drying machines. Stovetops and ovens are kindled at the push of a button and the turn of a dial. This is NOT work.
Sunday, you are to feast with your church family, without dietary restrictions. Have a Lord’s supper. Break bread, eat bread, drink wine. Consume The Word. The “Bread of Life!”
Drink his blood, and receive forgiveness. For the power of the new covenant is in the blood of the lamb.
